Well hello to you all, how are you doing? I'm back in the garden this bright and sunny weekend, partly sitting under the sun shade reading (yes it's had it's first outing outside this summer) and partly doing a bit of garden furniture cleaning, washing down the chairs to get rid of the mildew and general muck that has acuminated over the winter.
Top of the garden wanted list (beside's the perfect weed free lawn) would be a garden shed to store everything in, or maybe the top would be a new garden fence, ours blew down a few years ago, and we haven't got around to finding the spare cash for a new one, just as well we are friendly with the neighbors, though the hand waving can get a bit tiresome sometimes, you know..when all you want to do is just catch some rays....
The herb garden that I planted is coming on a treat, I'm very pleased with myself that I haven't killed it all off yet, and having fresh herbs for cooking is great, just pluck wash and chop....
What about your garden, have you bought anything nice for it lately?
Love the white patio umbrella. Looks light and airy. Yup, it would be great to be reading under it's cool shade.
ReplyDeleteYour herb photo reminds me of a hostel I stayed at while bike touring in New Zealand. In the kitchen was a container that held clippings of various cooking herbs. The guests were encouraged to use them! I loved it!
ReplyDeleteI love the white umbrella too -- so fresh against the backdrop of that green, green garden!
ReplyDeleteI recognise the little recycled pink bag.. made from Rice Sacks I think.. we are thinking of producing a range of shopping bags in this material but keep seeing them around so might be too late!
ReplyDeleteGreen and fresh. The right place to be.
