How's about some decor inspiration from Alvhem Estate and Interiors today. If you have ever come across the problem of decorating around pipe work you will know what a night mare it can be, do you box it in, go to the expense of chasing it into walls, or just live with it. Well how about actually making it a feature of the room by incorporating it into the colour scheme not to blend in but to stand out, and by doing this it kind of does blend in. Checkout the black piping in these photos from a recent apartment on Alvhem website.
It works because the colour black is picked up throughout the kitchen, such as the grouting between the tiles, in the task lighting over the sink, the door painted with black board paint, picture frames and the wall clock. The pipe work no longer looks like an eye sore, but part of the overall effect.
