My herb pots
Today I have for you a rare glimpse (and by glimpse, I mean glimpse) of my garden, though really the word garden stretches the truth, a better description would be the weed patch/dumping ground that happens to be at the front of our home. This is for a couple of reason, we rent and don't have much say as to how it should look, if I had a my way, a bottomless pit of money and some muscle there would be a wall surrounding a lovely flat lawn with not a weed insight, a nice decking area to sit out on, a shed to house the BBQ/garden equipment ....and my wish list goes on and on, and the other reason is because I totally suck at gardening/growing things, I just don't have the green fingers gene, so my best bet is a couple of plant pots to try my hand at gardening.
Garden center herb pots
so in an effort to get some easy gardening inspiration I toddled on off to our local garden center and spotted these herb pot gardens which I thought I would have a go at. As I often by fresh herb packs when doing the weekly shop, and then find that by the end of the week I'm throwing away the best part of a pack because I haven't used it all up, so I figure that fresh herbs growing in the garden is a much better idea
My herb pots.
The great thing about this, is that even if you only have a small space or just a balcony, you can grow your own fresh fragrant herbs to enjoy and always on hand to whip up a culinary delight.
this looks lovely and must smell divine!
ReplyDeleteyes the rosemary is lovely, every time I walk past I have to pass my hand through it to get a whiff.
DeleteI have the same type of garden. It's just so much easier. My husband plants vegetables in our yard, but I can't stand how much time it takes to maintain.
ReplyDeleteI so wish I had a little balcony to plant my own little herb garden but alas...nope!
