Hello!

Hello everybody!  I thought I had better stop by to say hello, if you follow my Facebook page you may have caught me there, but basically I just needed some time away from blogging as things have been a little stressful of late, my poor Hubby has been rather ill, and we have been back and forward to the hospital  a fair bit, plus I have been helping my eldest daughter to renovate her kitchen,(see some photos on the Facebook page)  as well as lending a  hand to my youngest daughter who is getting married in October, and what with my Hubby not working, well there is the added stress of being short of  a wage coming in,  as the saying goes 'when life gives you Lemons, make Lemon aid', well lets just say there is a lot of lemon aid making at present! 

Thank you for your  comments and emails checking up on me, and hello to some new followers, and those of you who got in touch who have links with the beautiful Island of Jersey, it's always nice when people come across my blog, and it reminds them  of Family, friends,  or a holiday spent here, I hope you enjoy reading This Home Sweet Home blog.  I shall be back soon with some more posts, maybe some more photos of the Kitchen renovation, and I have a lovely cook book to share with you too, so do stop by in a day or two won't you, in the mean time enjoy what is left of a lovely weekend.
